A children's book for the hardest conversations.
When I Feel Afraid is a trauma-informed children's book that validates children's fear related to domestic violence, helping educators and caregivers recognize the importance of acknowledging children's feelings to foster safety and understanding.
Told from a child's perspective, it makes clear that children are not responsible for adults' behavior, which can help adults feel more equipped to support children's emotional needs.
